I actually like the Essence ones so much more. I bought the Kiko one in 107, it's a beautiful cool-toned color, but as you said... kinda patchy.

i also don’t like stains if i’m going to over line at all! they just cling to weird spots and don’t give the effect. i’ve given up on this lip liner stain trend lol

I work it in with my fingers while it's wet. it's nice for ppl who don't wear lip liners or lipstick and like the natural look on the whole lip and not as a lip liner.

I agree, can’t get them to look good on my lips😭 However I’ve also noticed it don’t even last that long at least on me, it smudges the same when eating/drinking so that also kind of defeats the purpose I bought it for💔
