Dear friend I just want to help you know that Jesus Christ claimed to be the way, the truth and the life and to be God by saying that "I am who I am" and Isrealites I think mostly in Jesus' days didn't call God as we can do it today so "God", but "Yahweh" which means "to be", so when Jesus Christ said"I am who I am" He claimed to be God as same as God claimed to be "I am" to Moses :D Try talking to Jesus Christ, tell Him your sins humbly and ask Him help you believe that He is God and to show Himself to you if it is in His will, Christ is God and He listens to you.
