@always_bee_writing: Truthfully, I haven’t been writing much lately. Not because I don’t want to, but because I’ve been struggling a bit mentally/emotionally AND I’ve also been busy creating & launching tactile writing tools that help new writers find their way & seasoned writers find their joy again. Choosing to be a writer is as terrifying as it is thrilling. We can’t simply show up, turn off our brains, and mindlessly check tasks off of our to-do lists. We’re creating art, people, and that takes more than just effort. Sure, effort is a HUGE part of a writer’s success, but if you’ve lost the joy or can’t see the path ahead or aren’t in a good mental state, then the entire process slows down. It warps. It becomes too much. Maybe you give up. Or press pause for weeks, months, years. If this sounds like you, or if you want to avoid becoming this, then you’ve got to get creative and find a way to keep writing, even when you don’t want to. And this is where those tools I was talking about come in. Don’t reinvent the wheel or try and figure out how to move forward on your own. Let a writer who has been there, done that lend you a hand. Don’t worry I’m not going to offer to be your coach or sell you a program. All I ask is that you give me a follow, check out the writing tools I have on offer, and keep checking back for new ones. Or, better yet, send me a message and let me know what you need to be able to move forward with your writing journey and we can make it happen together.
