As a born and raised Swede I would also be very uncomfortable to go to a sauna or even a spa with colleagues. I would object if someone suggested this.

I’m surprised about the sauna thing. I spent a bit of time over the summer in a couple of different places in Finland and then on to Stockholm. I swim everyday and the sauna/ changing room situation in Finland was….very unbritish! I loved it! Was expecting similar in Stockholm but found it so different. The people of Stockholm had levels of self consciousness that equalled the average Brit, if not more.

I was low key shocked by how segregated Sweden is… it’s like Africans/Muslims against everyone else in Sweden 😭 imagine my surprise cause I thought the UK was bad for this

I have a friend who works is a virus lab and to enter all the lab workers have to strip of in front of each other and go through this shower and decontamination zone, always thought that must be weird.

Yeah I’m born and raised here and would NEVER do naked sauna with colleagues 😂 I had to get used to the early lunches again when moving back agter 15 years abroad, but the thing I still, to this day can’t get into, is the whole thing about using week numbers to plan life. Like wtf do you mean you’re free week 39? Give me the damn date.
