@pristyq: Everyone complains about Tokyo being too crowded and over touristy but here are some places that I bet you've never heard of to add to your itinerary and beat the crowds: 📍 Hourin-ji A popular shrine to get goshuins, this place is especially pretty in the summer when hydrageas are in season. The hydrangea windchimes tinkering in the breeze are beautiful, and so are the hydrangea-filled water basins 🎐 📍 Hayashi Fumiko Memorial Hall Home to the author Hayashi Fumiko, this beautiful traditional house gives us a glimpse of the space where she worked on her pieces. It's peaceful and the garden is really lovely as well. 📍 7-11 Yoyogi Sendagaya 4-chome Probably one of the most scenic 7-11s in Japan, this is located near a train crossing where, if you're lucky, you'll get to witness two trains passing by at the same time - perfect to take pictures! 🚞 📍 Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum This place is a little far from the city centre but is absolutely worth visiting if you enjoy architecture.
