Hotel, In certain places I will stay in a 5 star hotel. In Rome I love a boutique hotel near the Spanish Steps, not necessarily a 5 star. Restaurants, I’m not in France. There are so many fantastic family owned restaurants that are much better than a 5 star. Tours, in the past I’ve taken my granddaughters and used a private guide and driver for the major sights.
