8 hours. a walk before work and a long walk after work. when people complain about it, i always say rather 8 hours on my couch with a blanket, than on a concrete floor in a shelter and not being able to sleep.

You guys act like dogs don't need 14-16 hours of sleep. People have to work. They will be okay for 8 or 9 hours if it's necessary I promise. Making people feel bad for crating thwir dog is wild.

Yall crazyyyyyyy. I’m about to get shit on so hard. My dogs get left for 9 hours during the week due to us working but if I absolutely have to, they can go 12 hours. I have a camera in their room and they literally sleep the whole entire time.

The amount of people saying 8 hours + is crazy!! 6 absolute maximum but only in emergencies. I personally only leave my dog for four hours at a time without a bathroom break or walk

here in Finland, at least,its perfectly normal for dogs to stay home up to 9hours / a normal work day +commute,as long as the dog has had their walk and food before and plenty of exercise and food after work 👏🤎 i check the camera multiple times a day and he's always just sleeping in various positions 🤌😊

Comfortable with 4 (which we don’t do often anyway). Max 6/7 - but this would be extremely rare and in unforeseen circumstances.

If you leave your dogs alone for 10-12 hours and then sleep 8 hours I mean what kind of attention does the dog get? Seems really sad. At least take them to daycare or hire a walker.
