No way those comparable homelessness figures are correct to other cities. Definitely some massaging of numbers especially for paris.

the ingredients for prosperity? beyond some minimal transportation and a few world class unis there is almost no ingredient for prosperity. There is limited innovation, services instead of creating something, almost no real R&D for population and a quickly growing pension class that requires more and more funds. Thats without all the crime and immigration issues that hurt the economy via housing etc and make life unbearably expensive. The UK is on a crash course for managed decline like the 70s with no end in sight. Thatcher had v high taxes to lower and a much younger population plus all the social housing and public companies to sell. Todays govs have none of that.

Maths is wrong. Population London 9 million / 13000 rough sleepers = 0.14% Londoners are homeless, not 2%. In fact to have 2% homeless there would need to be 180,000 homeless. There isn’t close to that many; they’d be on every corner of every street. You’d have 100 outside each station 😂
