Between the third season and the fourth season, there’s like a big disconnect because of things just happened so fast. Do I agree the fourth season levels up the story immensely but it just seems out of nowhere.

I dropped it as SOON as Eren became a titan, ruined the premise for me personally. It was just like, "well there's no real threat now because the good guys got a guy of his own and the show is gonna be about him getting stronger to defeat all the others by being one of them."
