Asset Protection team lead here. Have direct contact with corporate and I can confirm we ain’t closing. They’d let AP teams know if we were 1st as they’ve had us prep for things like riots and protests before. My team and my 3rd party security staff aren’t prepping for anything. They’d rather see what happens and have a AP team deal with the situation ourselves. What Walmart wants us to do vs what we would resort to is different. Worst comes to worst, 16 double stacked pallets of water bottle cases behind one set of locked doors then 16 double stacked pallets behind the second set of locked doors will work in a pinch. 😉
