#soundon #voiceover Making brioche from scratch at home probably would have been easier if I had a stand mixer but my carb loving soul wouldn’t let me quit! There was something therapeutic about slapping the thick dough onto a cold bench top and working in that butter. Punching the dough to remove the air after a long work week. The results though, my kitchen smelled absolutely amazing and the brioche was so butter and delicious. Egg washed and baked in the oven was quick, I used fan forced 160°C for about 15 minutes or until golden like me, glossed with butter as they cooled to give these beauties a gloss like my lips 💋 I must say, this was super similar to milk bread but so much better and the versatility is amazing! I have a few big ideas on what else I can make with this so stay tuned. For those who are wondering on the recipe, I used @joshuaweissman ‘s recipe because let’s face it, he’s amazing and also his recipes are so precise and easy to follow.
