sister, you did it exactly right! You can change the shade as desired, honestly, I find that they really don’t look good in most lighting, mostly just on camera in the correct light

put two different color chromes on different sides of the nail and then add foil to have an even better effect! also this is a great improvement from before. theres some videos on tiktok of asian nail artists doing this that i think would be helpful ❤

i FEEL like there’s no escaping the bulk with this design. all the tutorials they are fully encapsulating that piece. i think the bulk adds to the effect too.. IDK

the foil needs to be a different shape, a long and thin one. The ones you are using are too wide to sit well on the nail since the foil doesn't have any give to mold around the curved shape of the nail, which creates the puckering and folds on the foil when but on the nail. What you want is more of a stripe on middle of the nail lenghtwise.

Listen: cat eye silver, chrome any kind with a pink and blue hue, then add a bill of gel and stick it like a charm the foil, encapsulate it and it’s done

I’ve been looking at lots of videos of these nails bc I was so intrigued when I saw your first video and a lot of tutorials I saw use cat eye gel polish under the chrome. Maybe you could try that next time
