That’s been a problem to me not just in the WNBA, but also in the NCAA where men are coaching women problematic if you’re not willing to allow the genders to swap on every level, then they need not have men coach women

We severely need more women coaches in the WNBA, but, this Jose Fernandez is a great coach, and he will help the wings succeed. He knows how to coach stars because he coached the USA U 18 World Cup team to a gold medal last summer in 2024. It’s important the Wings have a good coach so that page and their new number one draft pick can both have productive seasons next summer

Have said for years, men should not be head coaches in the W. I hate seeing men coach women’s sports at all, knowing the vast numbers of qualified women still on the sidelines.
