I work with neurologists. MRIs are definitely not routine. We have trouble getting them for patients who actually need them. They don’t just give them out.

These sort of rules don’t really apply to the rich and powerful, plenty of them undergo medical testing at their whim to stay on top of their health since so many illnesses are less lethal when caught early.
