This hit this morning as my littlest woke me up at 5 bc he had a nightmare. So I went to play down with him and try to get him back to sleep only to have him finally tell me his head hurts and he doesn’t feel good. 🥴 looks like we’re up for the day and I’m scrambling to adjust my work calendar ….

my autistic 4.5 yo son doesn't sleep past 5 am, he has a Tonies box and I leave dry cereal in his room and water. I get up around 7. I can't WFH and be a SAHM if I'm up at 5 am.

It’s the interruption of sleep. My 4 yo boy wakes up every night. Husband is out of town working so I let him sleep with me. Hubs comes home Friday. I don’t want to get up every night. I’ll turn into a monster.. hardest job I have ever had. Before anyone says make dad do it, in a sahm. This is my job and he only wants me 😵💫

I see you. Now that my youngest is older, he just goes to the living room and turns on tv by himself. Especially on weekends. We tell him he can wake us up at 7:00am on weekends.
