This inflammation often leads to heel pain, especially with the first steps in the morning or after prolonged periods of rest.  😩 Typically it is a result of excessive strain on the plantar fascia, which can be caused by factors such as high-impact activities, improper footwear, poor shin, foot & intrinsic muscle mechanics.  Rehab should be focused on the following ✅ Understanding your shin, calf & foot positioning / mechanics.
