this is called the postictal state. after a seizure humans and animals are super confused/ out of it. a lot of animals become aggressive so this is refreshing. have you taken him to a vet? he needs to be on seizure meds if it’s epelipsy every seizure will cause more damage.

Is he on anti-seizure meds? If not, should be. Every seizure causes damage. The meds eliminated seisure for my kitty.

My kitty has epilepsy and she also gets affectionate when she gets seizures😭 i think it’s them being cofused but they also know somehow

My son used to have seizures, luckily they went away after he got on some meds for a while, he’s become a lot more glued to my hip over the years since then though ❤❤❤

My girl has what we think is seizures when she’s sleeping but the last vet we took her to didn’t really address it and just said to monitor it which we already do so they were not very helpful

my cat just started having seizures and the damn vet in my town pretty much left to pursue at another place so now I have to drive 2 hours to get her checked out 😭 which is super inconvenient cause our car is breaking down and trying to figure a best time in everyone's schedule to get her checked out 💔

Hey so I read some comments where you talk about vet cost and stuff. Does pet insurance exist where you live at all? If so it would be a pretty worth while investment to get him covered so that they could reimburse you for some of the bills

If you know what’s causing them, I wish you the best of luck. If not, maybe get his blood sugar levels checked? My orange boy was having seizures, they went away for a while and when they came back they were really bad and turns out he’s diabetic

My little munch Mishka developed epilepsy as she got older and it never got easier to experience the worse it got, it would happen multiple times a night and I constantly had to switch out laundry and give her so much snuggles afterwards she was never not with me, love on that baby. He and you both need it. 😭😭🩷🩷

this is a cat at a shelter i volunteer at that also has seizures. he does obviously get confused after but he’s just like this. he’ll still let me pet him while trying to attack every cat in the room while siezing lol. youre doing great cat mama. im pretty sure he was actually siezing here bc he gets insanely agro and he was not happy with the other cats
