Every company is racing to implement AI, but a new report by McKinsey has just exposed why most are failing to make it work. And the numbers are brutal. McKinsey found that 88% of companies claim to use AI, but two-thirds admit they're running small experiments, never scaling them into real systems that impact revenue or operations. They also found that 62% are playing with AI agents, but only 23% are scaling them across the business. And while 64% of companies say AI helps them innovate, only 39% see any real profit impact. Which companies are actually getting results? McKinsey examined the top 6% of companies that are actually leveraging AI to drive business results + found that their executives personally lead these initiatives. Those companies are three times more likely to scale successfully.
