Retired Walmart person here. A lot of times merch like that have quantity restrictions at the register. When you talk to corporate ask about it. Did the mngr override it? If not, how come there isn't a restriction? Also, look up the hierarchy for your area Walmart. Do not speak to anyone at district or regional level. It has to be higher. Lower level kicks it back down to store level.

Follow up: Cooperate says they are going to deal with this issue within two days. He will no longer work as a manager. If I remember correctly, he isn’t regular management any way. He’s Asset Protection! It’s probably how he affords a $600 Louis Vuitton bracelet to wear at his Walmart job.

For those of you who don’t know Walmart has a limit and more than the limit has to be override by a manager. The greed is what is the problem. Someone who is trying to buy a pack of 8 vs 800. The person buying 800 is going to go sell them for 100x the retail value. How is that fair? I’d be upset too
