@seagrapeapothecary: It’s grim out here and so many people around the country are scared and unsure of what happens next. We’re here to remind you that we are all in it together. It is our responsibility to care for each other in whatever way we can, and we deserve to have others care for our wellbeing. Many folks are potentially going to loose access to their SNAP benefits come November 1st, and food is a non negotiable. We’ve cleared a section of the shop and are turning it into a community food pantry so those that have extra can donate, and those that need something can take it, no questions asked. All of us at Seagrape are (and have been) very overwhelmed by the state of the world but we’ll continue to lean on our community and be a small piece of the care for you in whatever clumsy way we can. Do you have extra non perishable food items? Bring them in! Do you love baking fresh bread and always have extra loaves? Leave them for a community member! Food banks around the country are also very overwhelmed right now so go donate there if that makes the most sense in your communities. We’re gonna bumble through this together, ok?
