As a teacher, I have always kept my lights off during Trick or Treat. It has nothing to do with money. 😂 The week leading up to Halloween is like "He double hockey sticks" week in the military. First trimester grades, spirit week, Red Ribbon Week, Kids hyped up. Then STAFF costume day .... I was always hiding in the closet around 4:30 on October 31st to sit in complete silence whild eating a big bag of Snickers.

I like the idea of coupons at least for teachers, but what they could do is receive an extra 10 points on an exam, receive an automatic A on an assignment that didn’t get completed or receive an extra day to get an assignment done; things like that I think the kids would love more than the candy.

The bus coupon is very tempting. Think of how many kids you can take for a joyride on Halloween. But unfortunately the authorities would be talking to you about our behavior. Luckily I’m too old to be one of your students. 🤣❤ happy Halloween.🥰🎃

We were never home on Halloween night because of a family birthday celebration, and the candy I gave my classes was collected from the homecoming parade! 🎃😂🎃

My tip, buy or find a big roll of bubble wrap. Cut into 3inch X 12inch strips. Roll, tie a black, purple, orange or green Halloween ribbon bow around them with a Halloween tag that says “Here’s to a poppin’ Halloween!”
