Your mum will always be your mum but that doesn’t mean you have to respect her or even like her. I haven’t seen my dad in over a year he lives 2min away he won’t come see his grandkids, abuses me when I call, calls my kids names yet they have done nothing wrong and hangs up but drops everything for my sister.
