I thought i was dying when i got my first decidual cast. I felt some pressure, then a sharp pain. I would say it was the same pain i got from getting my IUD :,( It was very fascinating to look at though. Smooth skin on one side and fleshy and bubbly like fat on the other side. Ik its wierd to look- but hey, i like biology and i found it cool 😭 And the wierd feeling to touch dead skin lol

I’ve had several decidual casts and the agony is unreal. Was always super scary but as soon I knew what was going on it was ok.

The fact that we never learned about this in school, but just were taught that we bleed (I’m 32). I was in my 20s first time I learned. I thought I unknowingly had been pregnant and was having a miscarriage.
