God I’m so glad I had a hysterectomy. Didn’t want to keep taking pills since my husband had a vasectomy and IUD made my blood pressure spike.

Yes! Menstrual suppression is the actual best thing! I bleed when I want to, not on some arbitrary pills schedule.

I asked my GP a few years back something to stop my period. My husband had a vasectomy. He told me i don’t need this is bleeding each month is part of being a woman 😢

I used to be afraid of not having one bcz I thought it was interfering with my body. As soon as I learned it doesn’t I got the iud with hormones. I was soo tired of ruining my clothes and spending money on products that should be free to women.

I have Endo. Was put on BC for the every 3 month cycle and was on that for years before going off it to try to have a baby. Took ages to get pregnant but that was due to the endo and not the BC. Have a healthy almost 5yr old now. That BC saved my life. My periods were so bad I wanted to die.

Let me tell you tho when I went to advanced radiology for a ultrasound early 2nd trimester in my pregnancy and told the lady idk when my last period was b/c i dont get one she about DIED, they insisted I give them a date so I made it up and she put on my chart possibly pregnant for 8 mths ! 😂

It has SAVED my life! Literally. I am so glad I finally found the right OB that was like “oh I’ve gotta fix for this” 🤣 as someone who has two daughters, and no desire to have more, and also has horribly heavy periods, it has been a lifesaver.
