I've been working on shifting from "body positivity" to "body acceptance." We might not always feel great about our bodies. Sometimes (especially with chronic illness) we may even be angry or sad about our bodies. And that's okay.

One of the favourite things that I remind myself, and my daughters of is that how I look, how they look is the least interesting thing about us. Who you are, the essence of who you actually are as a human being radiates from within you and in your case, you are such a pure light Chan. You constantly give grace to others. You are insightful and kind. One of my favourite taglines is “do no harm, but take no shit”. Be fiercely protective of that light because it and you are beautiful. 🫶
