vote no on 2-5 because it takes city council out of the review process so new yorkers won't get any real representation in those decisions

Yes! Anything that takes power from the many and puts into the hands of the few is not okay.

As a city affordable housing worker, please vote yes on 2-4! It’s taking power away from Repiblicans like Vickie Paladino who don’t want any new housing in their districts.

thank you! the voter websites weren’t super in depth but your perspective is helpful. I think 1 should be controversial as well though. also for being too vague!

I voted yes on all the housing proposals. Zohran’s housing advisor Cea Weaver and Brad lander both support them bcuz they’ll build more housing. What power do tenants have in the current system? Why do tenants care if more housing gets built?

NO ONE would be giving Mamdani this level of attention if mayoral elections were held during presidential election years.

Totally agree with your reasoning, but I feel like proposal 4 is a little different. That one gives the mayor power where ONLY city council has it now. I’m still torn on 2 and 3, but I’m voting yes on 4

I’m NO ❌ on 1. The precedent it will set is horrifying, and they haven’t even picked out this proposed 2500 acres we would get in exchange. There’s no way to know if it will equal the current land in terms of ecological quality. This isn’t just about the current facilities on that land, it’s about preserving the “forever wild” laws for future generations.

I know the housing ones feel like a toss up but I really feel like six should be an affirmative yes! Everything I’ve read said it leads to greater voter turnout when the elections line up!
