My favorite gifts have always been the hand made gifts. For example, my aunt crocheted a blanket using my favorite color (yellow) when I was like around 10. I still have it today and I'm in my 40's. So, my suggestion is to make something that aligns with an Autistic's special interest or simply aligns with something they personally like.

A giant jug of my favorite honey 😅 I drink a lot of tea/coffee. It made me feel so safe and seeeeen 🥰 Basically, find a shelf stable treat they love and buy it in bulk. It works on me 🤷♀️😂

my partner got me a needle felting kit for $15!!! It came with the needle, needle replacements, 40 colors of felt, finger guards, sheers, little eyes, hooks... There's a couple other things but it's amazing! I would recommend getting 2-3 of them, so that you have enough felt to make some bigger projects, as well as enough supplies so that this person can do the activity with you!
