This will be a great lesson for the anime industry. Hopefully they learn that making everything a movie isn’t the best money maker move. Instead hopefully they learn which projects should be put into a season and which should be put into movies

If Infinity Castle was a season rather than a movie, the animation would be nowhere near as good. They simply wouldn’t be able to afford it. I am glad to trade some awkward pacing in a movie theater for those scenes.

the thing is, my humble opinion, Fujimoto writes and draws CSM as it was a movie, because he is a fan of cinema, if you really look at his panels you can see it. that's why I think CSM is fenomenal to read when it is "completed" as was part 1

this is exactly what I said after coming out of the DS movie and immediately got flamed by the die hard enthusiasts that are too biased to admit their arc does not fit in a movie format and would be better as a season

ufotable is clearly dragging demon slayer, they are basically turning 2 seasons into three movies releasing after each other, and the movies arent anything special, they are just making long episodes

I also wanted to point out how this is demon slayers finally, it’s wrapping up every charecter, every plot whole, every story thread in the span of 3 movies. Weather that’s a good thing or not I don’t know but yeah it was going to be somewhat choppy compared to chainsaw man which was only one arc. Miguel train didn’t have this problem because it was only a continuation of the series like chainsaw man. Comparing these two just because they’re movies isn’t 100% fair since they’re doing two different things. I think by the last movie we won’t see many of the problems this one since by then I’m pretty sure it’s just going to be the muzan fight

something I noticed while reading CSM is that fujumoto tends to write chapters like scenes in a movie. so the pacing of each chapter makes it really easy to get through

a lot of the problems people have with the csm anime is how it doesnt reflect the tone of the series in the same way they perceived the manga. the anime was more grounded, slow, and less expressive compared to the movie and the manga.

Even though it wasn’t much of a huge difference, I’m still a little saddened by the animation/design change. I think it’s crazy that fans didn’t like the animation and art style in the first season. It felt like they actually downgraded the animation quality in the movie a little bit. But hey, if that’s what fans wanted.
