@snaprytr: Eating six dates daily in the four weeks before your due date may improve labor, a study found. Women who did this were, on average, 74% more dilated on arrival and had a 44% shorter first stage of labor. They were also over 40% less likely to need medical induction. Allah Subahanahu Wa Ta'ala Says in the Qur'an; • And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of date-palm. She said: “Would that I had died before this, and had been out of sight (and) completely forgotten. • Then (the angel) called out to her from (a place much) lower down to her, (saying) that: “Grieve not! Surely, your Nourisher-Sustainer has provided underneath you a stream of running water • And shake the trunk of this palm tree towards you, it will drop fresh, ripe dates upon you. • So eat and drink, and put your heart at ease. But if you see any of the people, say, ‘I have vowed silence to the Most Compassionate, so I am not talking to anyone today.’” (Qur'an - 19 : 23, 24, 25, 26)
