As Christians, this is our moment to shine 👇 ✝️ We look to Jesus Christ — He didn’t wait on a government to care for the hungry, the hurting, the marginalized. He moved, served, healed, gave. ✝️ When systems wobble, when benefits falter, we remember: our hope is in Him, our calling is to serve. ✝️ Let’s not depend only on policy or bureaucracy—but let’s step in, hands and feet of Christ, to lift up our neighbor. Here are a few practical ways we can respond: 🙏 Gather groceries or diapers for a family you know who is feeling the pinch because their EBT/benefit access is delayed or uncertain. 🏠 Open your home or schedule a time when others in your church/community can drop by snacks, meals, fresh produce or even help pay a small utility or rent bill. 🤝 Lead a “church food-walk” or “neighbor meal train”: pick up extra items next time you buy groceries and deliver them to someone in need. 📢 Ask your church to make it a prayer focus: for families affected, for local food banks, for our government leaders to act with compassion. We don’t wait for the perfect system. We are the hands and feet of Jesus now. When the government wavers, the church must stand steady. 💪 When families worry about grocery shelves or cards not working, we walk in and say: “We see you. God loves you. We’re here.” 🌾❤️ It could be you… it could be me.
