These kids will have to deal with this until they can get jobs, save up money and escape. Neither of them show any remorse what so ever. They are fine with this lifestyle because they can spend the majority of their money on BS 🧊 💊 🪴 They are lost causes.

Very hot take, but even IF everyone has no other option but a single room to sleep; why aren't the kids in safe, free resources during the day? Parks. Libraries. Walkabouts. We caught the bus! Our kids grew up with us not having two coins to rub together most days, but they always had a safe, comfortable home and parents who invested 100% of their time and available resources to provide a decent childhood.

My highschool bf was a hotel child and he fell into addiction and lost his life as well as one of his siblings. Hotel children go though so much. I will never forget the things he told me and I saw.
