@adutkiirofficial: Senior Presidential Envoy on Special Programs, Hon. Adut Kiir, on Wednesday paid a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Nairobi, Kenya. She was warmly received by the Deputy Ambassador and other diplomatic officials stationed at the mission. During the visit, Hon. Adut held a consultative meeting with the embassy officials to gain firsthand understanding of the situation facing South Sudanese citizens in Kenya, with particular attention to students. She was briefed on a range of pressing issues, including the arrest of South Sudan nationals, challenges related to scholarships, pupil passes, certificates of good conduct, as well as immigration difficulties encountered at both the border and airport. The envoy expressed her commitment to engage relevant authorities to find effective solutions to the concerns raised. She also encouraged youth engagement in productive activities during their stay in Kenya, emphasizing the importance of empowerment, unity, and positive representation of South Sudanese abroad.
