honestly, I heard it's reassuring. when you get upset it's like a reminder that you genuinely care. Cause from the perspective of Alot of dudes you don't really get upset towards things you don't care about. Like one time with my bf I didn't react to his ragebait and he seriously got worried 😭. so yeah, it's the same thing as "would you love me if I was a worm " but the male/boy version. if I annoy you, I know that I hold some type of emotional weight.
