@mystaems: Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: “There are three whose supplication is not rejected: The fasting person when he breaks his fast, the just leader, and the supplication of the oppressed person; Allah raises it up above the clouds and opens the gates of heaven to it. However, Allah Azzawajal may delay the removal of oppression from the oppressed and postpone the punishment of the oppressors as a way of leading the oppressors further into sin, or He may give them a chance to repent and return to righteousness. The Prophet May Allah bless him and give him peace said: “Indeed, Allah grants respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, He does not let him escape.” Then the Prophet recited: “Such is the (crushing) grip of your Lord when He seizes the societies entrenched in wrongdoing.
