I’m going to say it… I feel like they are blackmailing us with threats of suicide for free plastic surgery when most of us can barely afford dental. And I’ve had gender affirming surgery that I paid for as it was my choice

Hi Amy, can you speak on when fellow women give these men a pass by saying they're okay with them coming into our spaces? Like they obviously don't speak for all women, but it's so frustrating and it feels very pick-me of them when I hear them say "well I SUPPORT trans people" and "who cares, it's just a bathroom" while other women are voicing their concerns and frustrations. I feel like there needs to be some accountability for these women too. Thanks!

I really don't understand this narrative of how trans WOMEN as a group are making cis women unsafe and "infiltrating" our spaces. I'm with you when it comes to us specifically not being solely responsible for "setting the table" for trans women as they transition, since the time for emotional coddling on male socialised people by women is absolutely done. But as humans we should also not target trans women in similar ways as we have been targeted by men
