Fun fact: huntsman spiders hunt their prey like how cheetahs do…bolting at them at super speeds to catch them. Almost all other species of spiders use their webbing for traps or echolocation but huntsman just have the terrifying running and chasing strategy.

actually that's a Banana spider/Golden orb weaver! They spin this super strong gold/yellow silk! We have one on our front porch and she is absolutely gorgeous! The big ones are the females, small are males :)
