So here’s the deal: I usually fly in on a Saturday, grab a hotel, and when Sunday hits, it’s go-time. I’m always hyped for that first class. Now, I don’t really call myself an educator — they already know how to cut hair. I’m more of a mentor… or honestly, a cheerleader. Because cutting hair is just one piece of it. I talk about showing up — how you dress, how you carry yourself, the energy you bring. Chivalry, professionalism, being prepared — all of it matters. I want stylists to get their value. And part of that value? The tools you use. Like, if you’re five years into doing hair and still using your cosmetology school shears — the ones made for mannequins and mother-in-laws — but you’re rocking a Louis bag and dreaming about a Porsche in the driveway… your priorities might be a little off. Don’t be a tool. Just get the right tools. Work smarter, not harder. Elevate your skill, your craft, your vibe. I’ve worked hard for this life, and I’m stoked to be on the road sharing what I love.
