I feel for you. My daughter is a complex pain patient. She has been since she was 5. Does he have a pain plan with a pain specialist? The hospital should uphold that. Riley hospital is wonderful with pain control

Jackie did you tell them to call the pain doctor? I had to call all the specialists while in the ER to make them help. Call the patient advocates while in room. And the hospital director. Report that doctor

Ohio is a single party consent state- you can record any conversation you are a part of without asking for the other party’s consent. I always record every time I see a doctor, mostly because I forget but once i accidentally caught a doctor flat out lying about what happened during my appointment. I was able to use the recording in court and he lost his license and it triggered a huge lawsuit. She was going to lie about you and say you threatened her, until she found out you recorded her.

First, call your insurance and file a complaint. Second, let God doctor know exactly what happened. Next time, right in front of the doctor, when this happens, call the number on the back of your card (the 24 hour) and file a complaint. It triggers a audit. The hospital and that doctor will regret it. Their attitudes will charge quickly. As well, ask for a patient advocate from the moment you Enter the ER . But seriously, the moment you out your child is neglected or mistreated, immediately call the insurance in front of them. There is always someone to get ahold of. The audit scares the hospital. It’s a lot of work for them.
