Every Sunday she’d make a big batch, and the smell alone could bring the whole family to the table before lunch was even ready. Simple, humble, and full of love — just how Italian food should be. Ingredients: • 250g pork mince • 250g beef mince • 1 clove garlic (core removed) • 50g bread (adjust as needed) • 1 egg • Salt, pepper, fresh parsley • Sunflower oil for frying How to make it: In a blender (or by hand), combine bread, salt, pepper, garlic, and parsley until roughly mixed. Add the mixture to the minced meat, then add the egg and mix well until evenly combined. Wet your hands and shape into small balls (around 20g each, or larger if preferred). Fry in hot sunflower oil for about 3–4 minutes until golden and crisp. Let them rest for a minute, then serve hot — irresistible every time.
