@saysdotcom: About six acres of forest near UiTM Puncak Perdana in Shah Alam, Selangor, caught fire on Wednesday, 29 October. According to Malay Mail, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said firefighters from Bukit Jelutong, Kapar, and Sungai Buloh stations were dispatched after receiving a call at 4.15pm. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze to about 0.8 hectares, preventing it from spreading to the UiTM Puncak Perdana campus. As of 6.30pm, efforts to fully extinguish the flames were still underway. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the fire did not spread to the university campus.
