Many foreigners tend to overthink China’s intentions. In reality, both the Chinese government and the Chinese people share a simple goal — to make the country stronger and to live a happy and peaceful life. China has no intention of invading or threatening any other nation. But if anyone tries to disrupt that peace, undermine our well-being, or invade our homeland, China simply wants to have the strength and courage to protect itself. Nothing more, nothing less.
