Love your content! Is there any particular sign that is hard to miss when a male budge enters the breeding phase? Mine chatters preens and flies around pretty much all year long but when the days become longer after the winter he “calls” way more could that be a sign?

Hey my female lovebird is a chronic egg layer and does have some issues related to that because of it. That being said sometimes there’s nothing you can do to prevent it or fix it, I’ve tried everything that her vet recommended and only the hormonal implant worked (yes that includes sleeping 14 hours, changes in diet and cage, and hormonal shots). Unfortunately, the hormonal implant came too late since my last vet avoided that and now she has irreversible damage because of it and almost died. I do think it’s important to keep in mind that vet support is necessary and the correct one, her last vet did not perform all the necessary test and neglected my lovie’s health to a point of no return. 💕

My ( male ) budgie never used to be bitting and I thought that he could never bite but now he is bitting very much like he bites and doesn’t let go. Now he is about 10 months old. If someone went trough this please help and give so advice. What i want is to jus get my Kiwi back
