@silverliberation: I almost turned around. 🐍 Right at the start of this hike at First Creek (just past Red Rock in Las Vegas), a big snake slithered across the trail and my heart just dropped. Snakes have always been my biggest fear, and for a moment I thought, nope, not today. But I took a deep breath and kept going. And I’m so glad I did. What started as panic turned into presence - and by the end of the 6-mile hike, I’d seen waterfalls, wild donkeys, and the most breathtaking views. Sometimes fear shows up right before something beautiful.
