I did that. I think I’m the only tourist who’s ever taken the train from Melbourne to Sydney. It was 12 hours and I saw 17 small towns close up actually it was interesting. I saw lots of kangaroos

I did a 22 hours sleeper train from Guilin to Kunming in 2015, love it, the view was incredible and I could chat with so many people
