@laurensbookdiary11: Ali Hazelwood does it again!!! I LOVED Bride and I’ve been looking forward to Mate for so long and it did not disappoint! This book had me laughing pretty much the whole time while simultaneously making me cry and ripping my heart out and making me so unbelievably happy. The light hearted banter that Serena and Koen had throughout was so heartwarming amidst all the crazy mystery and cult business. The spice was SPICY but the romance and the YEARNING?!? The way this man yearns. His small snippets at the beginning of each chapter were AMAZING. I’m so sad this is over but I’m just so excited to see what Ali does next. When it comes to paranormal romance, even though it’s not her typical “niche” per se I think she has so much talent to take this even farther.
