@ask.doctor.s: Endometriosis Part 3 — Treatments There’s finally something new! 👀 Relugolix (Ryeqo) is a once-a-day pill that works by blocking oestrogen production — helping reduce pain, bleeding, and inflammation without injections. Approved on the NHS in April 2025, it offers faster relief and fewer clinic visits for women with moderate-to-severe endometriosis. 💊 #endometriosisawareness #endometriosis #healthnews #womenshealth

I feel like this video and a lot of articles on Endometriosis and “treatments” are really misleading. They are treatments for the symptoms, not for Endometriosis itself. It will help mask symptoms which is great to get by, but meanwhile it could be causing havoc internally and it not be known until it’s destroyed organs and is too late. Endometriosis is honestly just constantly fighting a losing battle

however it IS another contraceptive it is NOT a treatment at all it is hust another band please google RYEQUO it is it is a band aid to temporarily cover it up but it is just another band aid endometriosis warriors do not wwnt we wwnt a real treatment and real cure that actually deals with the underlying issue it does NOT treat endometriosis it is a band aid it is an old contraceptive renamed that used to be called ryequo it is NOT the first gnhr for endometriosis as there are already others: zoladex,Lupton, prostap, triptorelin and histrolen these already exist ryequo is the previous name of this medication it was only changed due to rebranding but is still ryequo and I know people who have been on it for YEARS so is NOT new at all no this tissue doesn't break down it cannot break down thats a period, it cannot go anywhere it is trapped and it is where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows elsewhere and CANNOT be shed like a monthly cycle so it cannot break down instead it builds up and causes adhesions and scar tissue thst forms binding organs together these are NOT treatments for endometriosis these are band aids that simply just cover it up until you have to come off them as they are not good long term and can be dangerous if pregnant the treatment is a laparoscopy which is a gold standard treatment that gets to the underlying issue cutting it out at the root it is also NOT only available to those with previous band aid failures as they offer it to anyone who is suspected of having endometriosis even before any other treatment is done yes I have witness this time and time and time again as an endometriosis warrior

Nah im not trying it. Until the medical professionals start investigating endometriosis and adenomyosis seriously and with the respect it deserves, om not taking any tablets, injections, contraceptives. If we all stop taking these meds, they'll be forced to plug the gap because they'll want the money we generate for them.

Endometriosis misinformation is so common so Please note: Endometriosis is not the same as uterine lining tissue! It is “endometrial-like” as it responds to hormonal changes similar to the uterine lining but it has been proven to be a completely different tissue. It is also a whole body inflammatory illness (not a gynae problem) and cannot be approached by only targeting the reproductive system!!!!

So as someone actively trying for a child (recurrent miscarriage) I’m assuming this isn’t an option? I was told a month ago to pick - contraceptive to reduce symptoms or bleeding through a tampon and maternity pad combined every 30-45 minutes

Ryeqo is essentially Decapeptyl and a hrt in a tablet. There is no new medication. The only thing with this, is that HRT is in included but it makes it harder as you can't change or add another HRT to support with the side effects. Menopause doesn't always stop endometriosis from growing or the symptoms.
