I worked in Newport News for ONE YEAR AND WITH THIS ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL. She was horrible!! Ignored us. Blamed us. She didn't care what was going on in our classrooms. I was at a different school in Newport News then, not Richneck, but she ignored our pleas for the horrible behaviors we had in that school. Violent aggressive kids who did whatever they wanted. I found out the next year her and the principal were moved DURING the school year to another school. Several of us teachers met with a HR rep to let them know how awful our administration was. I hate that she was allowed to continue being an admin, and just a few years later ended up at this school where this poor teacher was shot. If they had only listened to us then.
