so everyone knows.. food stamps is nothing to be ashamed of. I was on food stamps and it got me though hard times HOWEVER! this is a temporary solution not a for your long-term problems. this is why you have to go through renewal processes every 6 months to see if you qualify cause you dont get this privilege permanently. its to help you get back on your feet. this is to only meet you halfway, sadly many have taken advantage of this privilege

my husband works for the state (I'm in school) and we get food stamps. not much but enough that we rely on it.

This is going to get some hate but let’s try taxing churches and these millionaires and billionaires instead of the lower income going broke so they can get wealthier.
