Cross-training allows me to build fitness without the constant pounding of running. 🎯 Targeted Heart Rate Zones: Cross-training (cycling, swimming, rowing, skierg) lets me hit specific HR zones more precisely, building my aerobic base without accumulating unnecessary running fatigue. ⚖️ Holistic Development: A well-rounded approach prevents muscle imbalances and overuse injuries. I’m developing complementary strength and cardiovascular fitness that directly supports my running performance. 💎 Quality Over Quantity: Instead of racking up “junk miles,” I’m focusing on critical running workouts—speed sessions, tempo runs, and long runs—where every mile has a purpose.
