This is my biggest fear! I’ve started using an external hard drive and keeping the images on the SD card until they’re delivered but I’m terrible about leaving the cards out and around. I’m sorry, especially as a newborn photographer, so much work!

Oh friend, I know how you feel. My computer crashed a couple years ago during busy season and I felt hopeless as a photographer because I felt like I was not being the best that I could be to my clients. You have to realize that busy season is upon us and as a photographer a lot of us feel crazy at this time. There’s a lot to be done in our business, There’s also a lot to be done in our personal life. Just take one day at a time and you’ll get through it. We all will. Prayers my friend you’ve got this. ❤

Backups always. Multiple back ups. Look up carbon copy cloner. It automatically backs up everything to an external source. Also look into a NAS. Redundancy is key.
